This morning we took an air con'd bus around Lanta picking up passengers until we got our first car ferry to 'Lanta Small'. We then drove through the lush island before another ferry took us to the mainland. It was an hour to Krabi. Where we took a long tail boat to Railey. Splashing up against the waves we arrived a bit wet (on longtail boat) but happy to reach this new place, which is actually on the mainland but only accessible by boat due to the mountains in between.
We then trekked around the three beaches that are here. Spending a bit of time on Lonely Planets acclaimed 'best beach in Thailand'. The scenery is amazing here, white sands, turquoise waters framed by dramatic cliffs. It's a mega place for rock climbers to come and seek some adrenaline so there are lots of hippy hangs outs and friendly people. We loved Lanta but now we are here Thailand just seems to be getting better and better.

Wish we were there (and not stuck at Heathrow):( See you Friday:)
