We now know what age we'll be when we die

Dan stayed up till 5am to watch the Euro final in a bar. It's a big deal out here and there were lots of street parties and big screens out. A lot of people were falling asleep in their chairs by the end of the match.

We visited a temple where the monk begun and returned from his 'journey to the west'. We learnt about that particular type of Buddhism, had our surname written in Chinese writing and learnt about our Chinese birth years. As a result of that we were also told the age we'll be when we die! Finally, we rubbed the Buddas belly for happiness.

Later on we ate another Chinese feast with the group then went to the Muslim quarter. Finally a river side stroll, where we saw more tai chi, and a local band perform in a square under the lit up city walls. And then to bed...

...today Dan has caught my cold and we go to see the warriors, then catch an overnight train to Chongqing.
