For the first time whilst travelling we have made the reverse journey, and so we are back in Phnom Phen. We've done this so we can catch a boat down the Mekong river and over the border to Vietnam.
We had a less eventful bus journey today than last time. Stopping in 'Spiderville' where you can eat fried spider from the street stalls. Upon arrival it felt strange to be in a now familiar city. Annoyingly we had booked a hotel with a pool as we fancied some chill time, but as we settled in the heavens opened, so we had a Khmer massage instead.
The rain seems a fitting end to our time in Cambodia as we are both sad to be leaving. So tomorrow (the 23rd) we head to Vietnam. We've read there are restrictions on some Internet sites (like in China). So if we are absent on here for a while no fear, hopefully we are not stuck in the Mekong but just not allowed to blog.
Some scarey moments yesterday! What happened to the Italians?? More importantly where is Dan's beard?? I love it so grow it back!
